Miguel M. de la O has been chosen, for the fourth consecutive year, as a Florida "Legal Elite" - a distinguished group made up of less than 2 % of Florida's lawyers.  All honorees will be listed in the July 2007 issue of the "Florida Trend" magazine.  The selection is made by Florida Bar members submitting a ballot naming lawyers held in the highest regard. 

As Chair of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, Managing Partner, Miguel M. de la O, spoke at the 2007 Annual Florida Bar Diversity Symposium on April 13th at the Florida International University College of Law in Miami.  Mr. de la O participated in a panel discussion regarding "Loss of Future Diversity: Declining Minority Enrollment and Low Bar Passage Rate."

Managing Partner, Miguel M. de la O, was recently named a “Florida Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics in its annual peer review guide to the top attorneys in the state.  Super Lawyers names Florida's top lawyers, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics.  Law & Politics performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers in a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers is a comprehensive and diverse guide to outstanding attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations.  Only five percent of the lawyers in Florida are named Super Lawyers.  The selection process is detailed here.  The guide will be published in June.
