Florida Trends Magazine has named Partner Miguel de la O a Florida Legal Elite in the area of Civil Trials. Over 15,000 votes were cast by lawyers across the State of Florida, only 918 were selected as members of Florida's Legal Elite (less than 2% of the nearly 63,000 Florida Bar members practicing in Florida). Miguel de la O & Daniel Leyton successfully defend appeal
Partners, Miguel de la O and Daniel Leyton, successfully defended an appeal to the Third DCA in Defense Control USA v. Atlantis Consultants. Miguel and Dan defeated the defendant's motion to dismiss before the trial court. The defendant appeal, but the Third DCA affirmed the trial judge's ruling denying the motion to dismiss.
