The Hispanic Heritage Council , in conjunction with Union Planters , has named Miguel M. de la O as a recipient of its "Young Hispanic Leadership Award" for 2004.
The Hispanic Heritage Council created the
"Young Hispanic Leadership Awards" to honor young Hispanics, 40 years of age or younger, who have distinguished themselves through their professional and entrepreneurial accomplishments and community involvement in South Florida.
The winners are recognized during an awards dinner-ceremony that will be held on September 23rd as an official event of the Hispanic Heritage Festival. This event is made possible thanks to the support of Union Planters Bank.
